"His Majesty does not tire of repeating that the Christians of those blessed lands are natives, meaning they live where their ancestors lived for long centuries", the Pope said. He pointed out that the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies, which was established in 1994 in Amman under the auspices of Prince Hassan bin Talal, aims to preserve the Arab Christian heritage.
