Ammon News - The Iraqi Oil Ministry announced on Thursday the final statistics of March's revenues amounting to more than $7 billion.
A statement by the ministry received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that "the total exports of crude oil for the past March are (100) million, (913) thousand and (27) barrels, with revenues of (7) billion, (506) million and (401) thousand dollars."
The statement added, "The total quantities exported of crude oil for the month of March from oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to (98) million, (875) thousand and (692) barrels, while the quantities exported from Kirkuk oil through the port of Ceyhan (1 million, (727) thousand and (494) barrels."
It pointed out that "the exported quantities have been uploaded by (35) international companies of several nationalities, from the ports of Basra, Khor Al-Amiya and unilateral floats on the Gulf and the Turkish port of Ceyhan."
It also pointed out that "the ministry, through its belief in informing the people about the export operations and the revenues achieved from it, has taken this monthly measure."
