Ammon News - The Arab League Friday inveighed against the Israeli restrictions on Christian worshipers, preventing them from accessing and performing prayers on "the Saturday of Light".

The Assistant Secretary-General for Palestine and the Occupied Arab Territories of the Arab League, Saeed Abu Ali, warned in a statement of the repercussions of the Israeli violations, restrictions and dangerous escalation against Christian holy sites.

Abu Ali urged the international community to assume its responsibilities and take "immediate" action to counter the Israeli "attacks."
