Ministry detects 170 food violations during Ramadan

Ammon News - The Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply in Jordan has reported detecting 170 foodstuff and grocery violations since the beginning of Ramadan, including 31 violations of non-compliance with the price ceilings for chicken.

The prices of vegetables and many basic commodities have witnessed a significant decrease, according to the ministry.

The ministry confirmed the continuation of the intensive monitoring campaigns on the markets.
