Ammon News - The Kingdom on Wednesday will be affected by a cold air mass accompanied by a depression, pushing temperatures down and bringing relatively cold weather in most regions, forecasters said.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), clouds at low altitudes are forecast to form, while winds will be northwesterly active with strong gusts reaching 60 km/h in some areas and blowing dust in the Badia.
A tangible drop in mercury levels is predicted on Thursday, becoming 8-9 degrees below the annual average. Therefore, cold and cloudy weather will prevail, with a chance for light showers in the morning over the northern region.
On Friday, cold conditions will persist in the highlands and the plains, while it will be moderate in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with low clouds.
Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 17 degrees Celsius and a low of 4C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 27C, sliding to 15C at night.
