Interior minister, Manama governor talk cooperation

Ammon News - Interior Minister, Mazen Faraya,on Wednesday discussed with Manama Governor, Sheikh Rashid bin Abdul Rahman Al Khalifa, ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and relations, and maintain "participatory" work policy to improve level of the two countries' security, administrative and development services.
The meeting was held based on the "distinguished" Jordanian-Bahraini relations, which their foundations were laid by His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, as part of the joint policy to exchange visits to serve common interests, according to an Interior Ministry statement.
For his part, Sheikh Al Khalifa affirmed the two kingdoms' "deep-rooted, historic" relations, lauding the "advanced" level of Jordanian administration sector in addressing all files, which aims to achieve security and social peace and develop services to keep pace with the global progress at all levels.
The Bahraini official also stressed the necessity of exchanging expertise in all fields, which would strengthen brotherly relations and benefit the two countries' peoples.
During a visit to Amman Governorate headquarters, Sheikh Al Khalifa met with its Security Council, headed by Governor Yasser Adwan, and was briefed on its work mechanism, tasks and duties and its administrative, security and development affairs units, primarily efforts aimed to enhancing Amman's development and improving its economic, investment and service environment.
Manama governor's several-day visit to the Kingdom features tours to a number of sites and talks with ministry and Public Security Directorate (PSD) officials, the statement said.
