Ammon News - The value of circulated checks decrease until the end of February 2023 by JD516 million, bringing the value of checks circulated to JD3.096 billion.

The number of checks circulated until the end of February of 2023 decreased to 512 thousand checks, compared to 641 thousand checks until the end of January of this year, according to data by the Central Bank of Jordan.

The data showed that the value of the number of returned checks amounted to JD222 million during the first two months of this year, while the number of returned checks reached 37,000.

In the last two months, checks that were returned due to financial issues reached about JD138 million.
