Ammon News - Interior Minister Mazen Faraya and a delegation of the East Amman Industrial Investors Association discussed on Tuesday in Amman ways to bring in foreign investments and strengthen Jordan's image as a business environment.
Faraya said his ministry staff would take measures to institutionalise cooperation with the Association and provide facilities for investors from outside Jordan to obtain visas.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, Iyad Abu Haltam, presented an overview of the nature of the Association and its activities, noting that industrial establishments in East Amman stand at 1,860, including 1,000 in Marka that employ 30,000 workers, 88 per cent of whom are Jordanians.
