Former minister Nadia Hashem passes away

Ammon News - Former Minister Nadia Muhammad Taher Hashem passed away on Sunday.

The former minister held the position of Minister of State for Women's Affairs in 2012.

She was the president of the National Association for Freedom and Democratic Approach - Jund, and a member of the Jordanian Writers and Writers Union, the National Committee for Human Rights Education, and the Ebal Charitable Society.

She worked at Lloyds Bank in the United Kingdom, and worked in the sales department at the Jordan Intercontinental Hotel in Amman. She won membership in the administrative board of the Jordanian Writers Union in 1988, and was a writer for a weekly column in Al-Rai newspaper.
