Ammon News - The Development and Employment Fund (DEF) launched funding programs worth JD4 million for 2023 to be added to the existing amount of JD16 million.
Mansour Wareikat, the fund's Director General, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) Monday that the new programs include the Women's Empowerment program and the Economic Empowerment program, noting that they were approved by the fund's Board of Directors within the government's Economic Modernization Vision.
He explained that the ongoing development and improvement of the fund's services is in the interest of citizens and achieves the fund's goals and objectives in terms of providing new job opportunities and preserving existing ones, noting that these programs include soft standards, preferential Murabaha prices, repayment periods and appropriate grace periods.
He called on those wishing to benefit from the new financing programs to visit the nearest branch, in addition to the fund's website or social media pages.
