Investment Minister, Qatari ambassador discuss strengthening bilateral relations

Ammon News - Minister of Investment, Kholoud Saqqaf, met Sunday, in the Ministry's building, with the Qatari ambassador to the Kingdom, Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani, to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, especially in the fields of investment.

Saqqaf stressed the depth of the fraternal relations that bind the two brotherly countries thanks to the care and attention they receive from His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, noting that Qatari investments in the Kingdom have common benefits, as they contributed to the national economy and it was positive for the Qatari investor.

The Minister of Investment reviewed the most important economic reforms that led to important developments in the economic fields.

For his part, Al Thani, praised the Qatari-Jordanian relations, which are growing every day and are witnessing wide and multifaceted developments in various fields, pointing to the interest that the State of Qatar attaches to promoting investment fields between the two countries.

He added that the volume of Qatari investments in Jordan is estimated at 2 billion dollars in various sectors, including energy, real estate, the stock market, banks, tourism services, and other sectors.
