Ammon News - The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Huneiti, and the Georgian Minister of Defense, Juansher Burchuladze, Wednesday held a meeting in Amman military cooperation.
Huneiti and Burchuladze discussed furthering cooperation in defence and discussed regional and international developments.
Huneiti said: "The Jordanian-Georgian relations constitute a model in facing various challenges and difficulties. Cooperation continues with the Georgian armed forces in all military fields by leveraging mutual expertise and capabilities."
In turn, Burchuladze noted the "depth" of the relations between Jordan and Georgia, praising the "pivotal" role played by Jordan in combating terrorism and extremism and consolidating regional security and stability.
