Ammon News - The Parliamentary Finance Committee will on hold Tuesday its first meeting to discuss the draft general budget law for the fiscal year 2023, with the government's economic team, according to the committee's head, MP Nimr Sleihat.

The committee will also hold a meeting on Tuesday with the Minister of Finance, Mohammad Issis at 12 PM, Sleihat said.

He added that the Finance Committee will arrange a program to meet the government and public bodies so that the general budget is detailed.

It is likely that the discussions of the draft general budget law will continue from 25-30 days, as the committee will intensify its meetings to complete the work and present the draft law to the House of Representatives.

The House of Representatives referred on Monday the draft general budget law for the fiscal year 2023 to the Finance Committee.
