Petra city has been witnessing a normal and regular tourist movement since the early morning hours, despite the weather conditions and rains that the region is witnessing Monday.
Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority (PDTRA) Suleiman Al-Farajat said that the movement of tourist groups and individuals who visit the city proceed in small organized groups to ensure the safety of visitors and without any obstacles, describing the tourist movement in Petra as good, explaining that the visit of tourists to the city takes place easily and within the main tourist tracks.
PDTRA called on citizens to exercise caution and stay away from valley streams and places where torrential rain and torrents gather during the period of the impact of the depression.
