Ammon News - The number of activated users of the digital ID on the "Sanad" application until August reached about 150,000 users, while Sanad website application indicates Thursday that the number exceeded 190,000 active users of the digital ID, in addition to the number of movements on the application exceeding 4.250 million movements.

And the number of stations dedicated to activating the digital ID of Jordanians through the “Sanad” application has reached 500 stations, according to recent data issued by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.

The data showed a plan to add new services that include several institutions during the next year 2023.

The government seeks to reach 3.5 million activated digital ID and complete the automation of all government services by 2025, according to the public sector modernization plan launched by the government in July 2022.

It is noteworthy that once the digital ID is activated, access to digital documents will be available, such as: "the driver's license and vehicle, the ID card, the birth certificate, and others."
