Ammon News - The commercial sector decided its decision to choose Khalil Haj Tawfiq as President of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) by acclamation, during the meeting that was held at the Chamber's headquarters and included members of the chambers of commerce in various parts of the Kingdom, in addition to representatives of the commercial sectors and 4 members of the Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC).
Jamal Al-Rifai won the position of first deputy, Hussein Shrim as treasurer, and Arab Al-Smadi as secretary, according to what Ammon learned.
According to Article 16 of the Chambers of Commerce Law, the duration of the council’s term is 4 years, and the council elects at its first meeting from among its members the president, vice president, secretary of the council, and treasurer.
