18 drug dealers arrested in police raids across Kingdom

Ammon News - Police carried out raids in Amman, Central Badia, Ramtha, Irbid, and Mafraq in the last 48 hours, arresting 18 drug dealers classified as dangerous and seizing large quantities of narcotics and firearms, according to an official source.

In Amman, two traffickers were caught hiding 72,000 blocks of hashish, 14,000 narcotic pills, 1 kilogram of synthetic cannabis (locally known as Joker), and a quantity of crystal meth in a warehouse, said the Public Security Directorate spokesperson. Additionally, three dealers were arrested, in separate raids, in possession of a total of 6,500 narcotic pills, 8 hashish blocks, and two firearms, he added.

In Central Badia, police trailed a suspect in his vehicle and stopped the vehicle to find 14,000 hashish blocks and 4,000 narcotic pills. Moreover, anti-narcotic forces seized 14,000 pills, two hashish blocks, and two firearms from two drug dealers in Irbid, in addition to 5 traffickers in Mafraq and another 5 in Ramtha captured in possession of 5 firearms and quantities of drugs.
