ICT forum to kick off November 16, 17 on Dead Sea

Ammon News - The 9th edition of the Middle East and North Africa ICT Forum will be held under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussain, on Wednesday and Thursday at the Dead Sea.

The forum comes this year after the end of COVID-19, as the ICT Companies Association has worked since its establishment to organize and hold the forum every two years.

Her Highness Princess Sumaya bint Hassan, President of the Royal Scientific Society (RSS), will speak in the forum in addition to 145 Jordanian, Arab and International speakers, including Ministers of Communication Information and Technology from Palestine, Mauritania, Egypt and Iraq, government officials and their counterparts from the private sector representing 29 countries.

On the sidelines of the forum, 5 Arab and international pavilions will be held, representing “ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA”, the trade promotion organization of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, the “Innovation for Enterprise Growth and Jobs” program (Innovate Jordan), funded by the European Union, and the Palestinian Information Technology Association (PITA), the Professional Computer Association of Lebanon (PCA), and the Association for Information Technology and Communications of Romania (ATIC), according to the statement.
