Ammon News - Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs Wajih Azaiza met Tuesday with the United Kingdom's Ambassador Bridget Brind.

During the meeting, Azaiza stressed the robustness of relations between Jordan and the United Kingdom, pointing out that cooperation between the two countries is underway in many fields and at all levels.

His Majesty King Abdullah II, he said, had emphasized that political modernization aims at broader popular participation in policy and decision-making through programmatic parties. Royal visions established comprehensive modernization on three tracks: political, economic and administrative, in order to achieve the aspirations of Jordanians, serve development goals, and focus on empowering women and youth.

For her part, Brind stressed continuing and strengthening joint cooperation, lauding the Kingdom's recent efforts in political, economic and administrative modernization.
