Ammon News - The volume of trade exchange (exports and imports) between Jordan and Sweden during the past eight months of this year amounted to 39.9 million dinars, with a deficit of 35.7 million dinars, as the balance of trade tends in favor of Sweden.
Data based on the Department of Statistics (DoS) show that the value of Jordan's exports to Sweden is 2.1 million dinars, while its imports are 37.8 million dinars, for the same period.
The trade exchange between the two countries last year amounted to 57.9 million dinars, with a deficit of 50.3 million dinars, with exports reaching 3.8 million dinars and imports 54.1 million dinars.
According to the data, the most important Jordanian imports from Sweden, according to the imported value for the year 2021, were the products of the chemical industries: medicines, machinery and apparatus, electrical equipment, wood and paper.
