QAIA received 57389 aircraft movements, marking a 56.45 per cent increase compared with last years's figures. As for cargo figures, QAIA handled 283,15 tonnes, marking a 6.73 per cent rise and 40.03 per cent drop compared with 2021 and 2019 figures, respectively. During the month of October, 722,238 passengers travelled through QAIA, up 33.35 per cent against last year's figures. QAIA also witnessed 5,926 aircraft movements, indicating a 15.16 per cent growth compared with 2021. The airport also handled 5,349 tonnes of cargo, recording decreases of 13.62 per cent, according to the AIG statement.
