Ammon News - The exports of Aman Chamber of Industry (ACI) continued their rise that started since the beginning of 2022, and they have grown by 53 percent during the past ten months of this year
Statistical data showed that Aman's industry exports rose during the past ten months of this year to 6.261 billion dinars, compared to 4.096 billion dinars in the same period last year.
The majority of exports of the ten industrial sectors grew during the past ten months of this year, at a rate ranging between 3 percent for the construction industries sector, and 105 percent for the higher-growth mining industries.
The figures confirm that the ACI’s exports will reach an unprecedented historical figure by the end of this year that it has not reached since its establishment 6 decades ago, in a clear indication that the Jordanian industry has potentials for growth that transcend difficulties and circumstances.
The exports of Jordanian industrial products spread in most regions of the Kingdom reach more than 142 markets around the world due to the export of 1400 various commodities, while today it employs 254 thousand male and female workers.
India, the United States of America, Saudi Arabia and Iraq accounted for more than half of the ACI's exports during the past ten months of this year, registering a value of 3.296 billion dinars.
The Chamber's exports to India in the last ten months of this year recorded an increase of 79 percent to reach 1.299 billion dinars, compared to 727 million dinars for the same period last year, making it at the forefront of Arab and foreign countries most receptive to Aman's industry exports.
The Chamber's exports to the USA during the past ten months of this year decreased slightly by 1%, declining to about 824 compared to 829 million dinars for the same period last year2021.
The Chamber's exports to Saudi Arabia for the same period by 32%, that increased to about 627 million dinars, compared to 473 million dinars for the same period last year 2021.
The ACI's exports to Iraq rose in the past ten months to 546 million dinars, compared to 443 million dinars for the same period last year, an increase of 23 percent.
The Chamber's exports to Syria recorded, during the past ten months, an increase of 44 percent, to reach about 107 million dinars, compared to 74 million dinars for the same period last year 2021.
The Chamber's exports to Palestine also increased during the past ten months of this year by 22%, to reach 145 million dinars, compared to 119 million dinars for the same period last year.
