Ammon News - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sameh Shoukry, and Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Hussein, on Monday held a meeting to reaffirm the continuation of cooperation and coordination within the framework of the trilateral cooperation mechanism to serve common interests and enhance Arab cooperation.
During their meeting on the sidelines of the preparatory ministerial meetings for the Arab summit in Algiers, the ministers lauded the level of achievement by the relevant ministerial teams in the three countries during the past period, in order to achieve strategic integration within the framework of the mechanism.
They stressed the need to follow up on the targeted projects and expedite their implementation in order to maximize benefits and develop economic potentials.
Safadi and Shoukry said Jordan and Egypt will continue to support Iraq, and its security and stability are a fundamental pillar for the security and stability of the region.
Safadi and Shoukry congratulated their Iraqi counterpart on the formation of the Iraqi government, stressing their aspiration to increase cooperation and coordination in various fields.
