Economic delegation concludes visit to Greece

Ammon News - A delegation from the Jordan Europe Business Association (JEBA) concluded a visit to Greece on Saturday, which was organized in cooperation with the Arab-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Development and the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

According to a statement released by JEBA on Sunday, the delegation met with Greek officials to discuss ways to increase trade, investment, and tourism exchange, as well as the possibility of Jordanian goods being exported to Greek markets.

The delegation, which included representatives from tourism, travel, real estate, energy, foodstuff, agriculture, security, and water, met with the president of the Athens Chamber of Commerce to discuss ways to strengthen trade ties and introduce investment opportunities in the Kingdom.

JEBA, the Athens Chamber, and a consortium of Greek companies signed cooperation agreements during the visit to facilitate JEBA's participation in conferences and exhibitions.

In the past seven months, Jordanian exports to Greece totaled JD11 million against JD25 million in imports.
