In a statement on Saturday, the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said the force "immediately" raided and arrested the drug dealer after information collected ascertained his possession of "large" quantities of narcotic substances inside his house. During the raid, the drug dealer and an accompanying person were nabbed. By searching their residence, police found 24, 000 narcotic pills, 29 palm-sized sheets of hashish and two firearms. An investigation was underway into the case, the spokesperson said.

Ammon News - A security force arrested a drug dealer with 24,000 narcotic pills and 29 palm-sized sheets of hashish in the port city of Aqaba.
