Ammon News - Jordan Phosphate Mines Co (JPMC) Monday said it is offering JOD1.5 million for a royal initiative to establish agricultural projects in Southern Badia, according to a JPMC report.

JPMC said the support comes following His Majesty King Abdullah II's announcement of the initiative during a visit to Southern Badia in October and a meeting with community leaders in the region.

It added that the money would cover the expenses of the first phase of the project, which will be implemented in phases as announced, to establish agricultural projects to serve families in arid rural areas.
