Ammon News - The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) and Caritas Jordan on Wednesday inked a joint understanding and cooperation agreement to implement relief and humanitarian projects to serve the local community and refugees in Jordan.

Secretary General of the JHCO Hussein Shibli said the partnership with Caritas Jordan is a long-term one, noting that the agreement aims at renewing, framing and unifying the efforts made in the humanitarian service sector.

For his part, Director General of Caritas Jordan Wael Suleiman stressed the importance of continuing to support humanitarian efforts to stand by the needy and the marginalized, especially during disasters and humanitarian crises.

He underlined that the humanitarian role that the charitable organization plays is an integral part of its mission and national duty, lauding the ongoing partnership with the JHCO.
