Army chief meets Emirati, Japanese ambassadors over cooperation, ties

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Wednesday met Emirati and Japanese ambassadors, respectively, to go over cooperation, coordination, and regional and global developments.

During his meeting with Emirati Ambassador Ahmed Ali Balushi, Huneiti discussed recent regional and global developments, cooperation and coordination in joint military training, and means of enhancing bilateral ties to benefit the two countries' armed forces.

The army chief also received Japanese Ambassador Shimazaki Kaoru to tackle prospects of collaboration and advancement of bilateral ties to serve the interest of both armed forces.
