UJ president, Polish ambassador discuss academic cooperation

Ammon News - University of Jordan (UJ) President Nathir Obeidat and Polish Ambassador Lucjan Karpinski Tuesday discussed joint academic and cultural cooperation.

During a meeting on Tuesday, they discussed the prospect of adding an optional Polish language course to the UJ and organizing joint cultural events and lectures.

Obeidat emphasized the university's commitment to establishing academic cooperation with other higher education institutions across the world to widen students' perception of the world and provide them with new experiences.

For his part, the polish envoy voiced hope for developing academic and cultural relations with UJ, commending the "distinguished" ties between Poland and Jordan.
