NCSC, ISACA ink cyber security cooperation deal

Ammon News - The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) and Amman's branch of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), an international professional association focused on information technology governance, on Sunday signed a memorandum of understanding to boost cooperation and expertise exchange in cyber security.

The deal was inked by the NCSC's Director Bassam Maharmeh and Vice President of the ISACA Amman Chapter Tamer Alajrami, according to a statement by the center.

Under the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in fields of joint interest, such as research, consultation, technical training, cyber security national contests, and designing capacity-building programs in cooperation with private sector partners and technology providers.

The agreement also stipulates collaborations in information and data exchange helpful in conducting cyber security research, organizing conferences and workshops locally and internationally, and creating Arab educational content on information security in coordination with several entities.

The National Cyber Security Center aims to build an effective cyber security system to defend the Kingdom from threats.
