Jordan, South Korea discuss water projects

Ammon News - Water Authority Secretary-General Bashar Bataineh met South Korean Ambassador Lee Jae-wan on Tuesday to discuss the completion of Korean-funded water projects in the Kingdom.

They tackled mechanisms to expedite the implementation of water and sewage projects to boost water supply efficiency.

Bataineh underlined the Ministry of Water's commitment to enhancing cooperation with South Korea in the water and swage fields, noting that the sector seeks to complete projects across the Kingdom in order to improve services.

For his part, the South Korean envoy said that despite limited resources, Jordan managed to efficiently takle water shortages, pledging his country's support of the water sector and new projects to help the Kingdom overcome these challenges.
