Ammon News - The Jordanian Nursing Council (JNC) concluded a Basic Life Support (BLS) course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA).
According to a JNC statement released Sunday, the course trained participants from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency and Al-Zaytoonah University on how to deal with suffocation and respiratory failure victims, including adults, children, and infants.
Some 1,200 people from health cadres across the Kingdom were trained in the past year on AHA's BLS courses, Minister of Health Firas Hawari had told a meeting with the AHA representative team in the Middle East last month.
