Ammon News - Jordan was not the final stop for the Antonov-12 cargo plane that crashed near Kavala in northern Greece late Saturday, according to an official source with the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC).

According to the source, the flight was scheduled to make a refueling stop at the Queen Alia International Airport in Jordan at approximately 9:30 p.m. before continuing on to Bangladesh, its final destination.

Media outlets reported earlier today that a cargo plane en route from Serbia to Jordan requested an emergency landing at Kavala Airport in Greece due to an engine malfunction, but the aircraft's signal was lost.
