Ammon News - The Arab Parliament welcomed the outcomes of the Jeddah Security and Development Summit that started Saturday in Saudi Arabia and saw the participation of the GCC countries, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq and the U.S.
The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel Assoumi, noted the Summit's importance in strengthening relations between Arab countries and the U.S. and opening new horizons of coordination and cooperation that would help batte the regional security and economic challenges.
Assoumi affirmed the Arab Parliament's support for all Arab and international efforts to uphold regional security and stability.
He expressed the Arab Parliament's aspiration that the outcomes of this summit would contribute to developing "unconventional" solutions to the regional challenges.
