Ammon News - The European Union's High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, Saturday said the nuclear deal negotiations between Iran and other major powers would soon begin in Vienna.
According to Euronews, Borrell said in a joint press conference with the Iran Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, in Tehran, "it was decided to resume negotiations related to the nuclear agreement in the coming days and quickly."
Abdollahian, in turn, affirmed Tehran's readiness to resume nuclear negotiations, saying, "We are ready to resume negotiations in the coming days, to lift the embargo, and for the economic benefit of the Iranian people."
The nuclear negotiations between Iran and the countries of the 4+1 group to revive the nuclear agreement stopped nearly 3 months ago due to the failure to settle some outstanding issues between Tehran and Washington.
