Majali, during his tenure as the director of the PSD and interior minister, “spared no efforts in preserving peace and safety for society in Jordan, including Japanese community, as well as extended his ungrudging support to Japan under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah, including contribution in facilitating the security cooperation between Jordan and Japan”, read a statement from the Japanese embassy. Many guests, including former ministers and high-ranking government officials, attended the event.
