Ammon News - Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Nasser Shraideh and Regional Director of the Near East, North Africa, and Europe Division at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) Dina Saleh on Sunday discussed programs to help the Jordanian government achieve food security.
The minister and the director also spoke about challenges facing the government due to the Russian-Ukrainian war and its effect on food security and supply chains.
The minister thanked IFAD for its continuous support and effective partnership with the Jordanian government, saying that IFAD's aid has positively impacted development efforts in the agricultural sector and financing projects of priority.
