JHCO, Naua renew partnership

Ammon News - The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) and the Naua Platform, a Crown Prince Foundation initiative, Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation to renew their partnership, carry out charitable and sustainable development projects to serve the local community and refugees across the Kingdom.

Under the memorandum, the JHCO and Naua will exchange expertise and knowledge and carry out training in various humanitarian fields, in addition to joint coordination to prepare a database for target groups and provide the necessary information and reports to offer the appropriate services to beneficiaries. It also aims at measuring the impact of these projects and monitoring them.

Secretary-General of JHCO Hussein Shibli said that this agreement is part of the organization's efforts to reach new donors and expand the scope of its programs and projects according to the economic situation, as well as keeping pace with social developments.

For his part, the Executive Director of Naua Ahmed Zoubi described the partnership with the JHCO as vita, noting that "over the past two years, we implemented more than 21 joint projects and collected donations amounting to approximately JD350,000, which enabled us to reach more than 25,000 beneficiaries across the Kingdom."

The "Their Day is on Us" campaign, a campaign that collected donations for day laborers during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, is one of top joint projects, reaching 450,000 beneficiaries with nearly three million Jordanian dinars in donations, he added.
