With the aim of boosting the dynamic process of intellectual vigor and interaction among students, an English Language Day was held at Faculty of Educational Sciences and Arts/ UNRWA University on 10 Tuesday2022 at 10 am.

The event was inaugurated under the patronage of Prof. Waleed Al- Anati, Dean of FESA, who reiterated the need for such activities that serve as a dynamic catalyst for developing students' creative and innovative competencies.

The English Language Day featured a thorough, diverse, and skillfully rendered repertoire of music performances, comic sketches, dramatic shows, competitions, and spelling games in addition to intellectual debates.

In an interview of Dr. Ghada Abu Al- Enein, who is the Head of the event's high committee, said that "The event offers students with an educational–cultural hub. It is an extraordinary opportunity to develop students' linguistic and cultural capabilities".

In a statement, Dr. Abdulhadi Abu Jweid, said that "The English Language Day demonstrated the success and innovation in the teaching -learning process. Abu Jweid continued, "This phenomenon is a completely detailed mosaic piece of art."

Despite FESA' s relatively modest means, one can feel proud of what students have achieved. The theatre has become a melting pot for language communication and an arena for educational, cultural, and artistic interaction. At one point, students acted out a dramatic skitch entitled " dialects and language variation" in a way that thrilled the audience and was depicted as professional.

One of the organizing students, Layan Rasras said, "The show aims to conduct recreational and cultural activities". Another organizing student, Hiba Omar, said "I have never been delighted with such performances as I am today." Another volunteer student, Malak Al Beik, said "As the world is busy with the scourge of war and fighting, "Our university holds an English Language Day and celebrates art, culture and language communication."

"Look at the enthusiastic students. They are thirsty for such high- caliber performances. They are certainly overjoyed," added one of the teaching staff, Prof Nafez Buqaiei. Another teaching staff, Prof. Ali Kassab, said, "This year's event develops into a nucleus for the educational and cultural growth and reflects the Faculty's vision as well as a vehicle for the exchange of interaction among other university students.

Encouraged by such a good and wide acceptance, the organizing committee at the English Language Day decided to widen the scope of the event to include further activities through promoting intellectual, cultural, and artistic communication among university students.

The display is one of the leading cultural and educational events that improves varied aspects of arts, culture, and language among university students. It also offers students a unique opportunity to express themselves in language, art, and culture.
