The Government of Japan has decided to confer a decoration “the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star” upon His Excellency Mr. Hussein Majali, Senator and Former Minister of Interior of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. It is to express Japan’s highest appreciation and gratitude for His Excellency’s magnificent contribution to strengthening bilateral relations between Japan and Jordan, and especially for HE’s effort to protect Japanese citizens.

With this regard, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Mr. HAYASHI Yoshimasa has sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency Mr. Hussein Majali, expressing his sincerest congratulations on the conferment in recognition of His Excellency’s outstanding contribution.
