Ammon News - Minister of Culture, Head of the Jerash Festival Higher Committee, Haifa Najjar, on Tuesday said that the 36th edition of the festival, which will be launched from July 28 to August 6 in Jerash, will encourage Jordanian youth and people in the region “to unleash their creative energies”, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Najjar said, during the committee’s first meeting, that the festival’s goal is to present and promote Jordanian culture, praising the role of national partners, namely civil society institutions, the private sector, ministries, and especially the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and the Public Security Directorate.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Tourism Nayef Fayez, Minister of Youth Mohammad Nabulsi, and Minister of State for Follow-up and Government Coordination Nawaf Wasfi Tall in addition to a number of officials.
