Inflation up 2.29pct in Q1 2022

Ammon News - The Consumer Price Index (CPI), a measure of inflation, inched up by 2.29 percent in the first quarter of the current year to 104.11 points against 101.78 points in the same period of 2021.

In a monthly statistical report, the Department of Statistics said Tuesday that the CPI edged up by 2.47 percent in March to 104.73 points from 102.21 points in February.
