Ammon News - Iraqi Minister Of Oil Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar announced Sunday, on changes in Basra-Aqaba pipeline project, while noting that the Ministry of Oil is looking with high accuracy if project meets the requirements and benefit of the ministry, Iraqi News Agency reported.
Abdul- Jabbar said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "The Basra-Aqaba line project has not been signed, the memorandum of understanding has not been signed, and it has not been referred," nothing that "the major strategic project is taking place according to specific settings by submitting it several times to the Council of Ministers to complete the Procedures, financing plan, implementation structuring and financial allocations, including it in the Ministry of Planning, and re-completion of the economic feasibility prepared in 2020.”
"There are changes in the project and therefore there is a new economic feasibility," noting that "a new consultant has been assigned to Burley Company, which is one of the international companies to determine costs,"Jabbar added.
