Ammon News - Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday arrested 19 Palestinians in stepped military raids across the West Bank and East Jerusalem, triggering clashes at a university, which caused injuries.
The Palestinian Prisoners Club said soldiers stormed Hebron, Bethlehem, Salfit, Tulkarem, Jenin and Tubas, and neighborhoods of occupied East Jerusalem last night and this morning, and made the arrests.
Two Palestinian students were hit by rubber-coated metal bullets and dozens suffocated from tear gas inhalation after troops breached the Palestine Technical University campus in Tulkarem in the northern West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said troops on foot raided the university, adjacent to the separation wall, and fired live rounds, rubber bullets and toxic gas, prompting the cancellation of classes.
