Ammon News - Enterprise Business Challenge (EBC) finals, implemented by INJAZ in partnership with the Prince's Trust International, will be virtually held on 12 April for the eleventh year in a row, according to a statement.
Out of 638 participants, only 12 teams have qualified for the finals of EBC programme, an annual inter-school competition for students aged 13–16, designed to develop and encourage their entrepreneurial spirit and business knowledge, it said.
More than 4,000 students from 114 schools in Jordan have had scientific experiments and learned essential concepts in business.
The finals consist of two stages; the first is a presentation before a panel of judges, where students showcase their projects. In the second part, contestants will build entrepreneurship companies and exercise commercial activities through computer simulation games.
The competition will be streamlined live on INJAZ's social media accounts on Tuesday at 12 pm.
This year's EBC is implemented in partnership with the Canadian-funded Women Economic Support Project, Mashrek International School and Ayla Oasis Development Company. The challenge focuses on encouraging teamwork, utilizing points of strength and making the right decisions.
INJAZ is conducting a series of extra-curricular programmes for students in schools, universities, youth centres and vocational training institutes. It also has an incubator, mySTARTUP, which supports promising entrepreneurs and start-ups keen to pursue entrepreneurship and launch their businesses.
