During the session, the council named Mohammad Al Qaisi as deputy mayor and formed its various committees, and endorsed a memorandum of understanding with the Food and Drug Administration to regulate and update controls on food within the Municipality to avoid duplication of inspection.

Ammon News - Mayor of the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) Yousef Shawarbeh and members of the municipal council took the oath during their first meeting after municipal and governorate council elections, which were held across the Kingdom last month.

During the session, the council named Mohammad Al Qaisi as deputy mayor and formed its various committees, and endorsed a memorandum of understanding with the Food and Drug Administration to regulate and update controls on food within the Municipality to avoid duplication of inspection.
