SOS Children’s Villages Jordan launches its Ramadan campaign

Ammon News - The SOS Children’s Villages Jordan launched its annual campaign on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, with the aim of encouraging philanthropists to support orphaned and vulnerable children who lack parental care, who live in its three villages and homes of young men and women in Amman, Irbid and Aqaba.

It also launched the "Be their supporter" fundraising campaign on an open day on the local radio station, Hala FM, on Wednesday.

The organization urged individuals to spend and give charity to those in need, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. It pointed out to the possibility of supporting and sponsoring orphaned and vulnerable children who lack parental care through several channels, including the organization's website, the "e-Fawateercom" system, e-wallets and other donation methods available on the organization's website and social media pages, in addition to calling the charity numbers.

It explained that the value of the child's sponsorship amounts to JD15 per month, the young man's is JD25 per month, the family sponsorship consisting of 5 to 7 individuals is JD50 per month, and companies and institutions sponsorship of a family house in the villages amounts to JD15,000, which covers part of current expenses for one year.

SOS Children’s Villages Jordan is a national non-profit organization established in 1983. The Association covers the social development field and cares for 260 orphaned and vulnerable children in Jordan who lack parental care in 32 houses, 3 villages and 9 youth houses in the cities of Amman, Irbid and Aqaba.
