Ammon News - Agriculture Minister Khalid Hneifat and Director General of the Agricultural Credit Corporation Mohammad Dogan on Sunday announced postponing April instalments due during the month of Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Despite the corporation's need to have the instalments paid, as it provides loans worth JD35 million to farmers without interest, the decision was made to support the role of farmers in the local economy and to preserve the agricultural sector and its productivity. Dogan pointed out that this decision will include about 40,000 debtors, highlighting the continuity of providing settlements for non-performing loans and granting loans without interest.
