People have since dubbed the chilling portrait as ‘Pennywise’s cousin’, expressing fears that it might be 'cursed'. Some have even called for it to be burned, believing it to be haunted. The painting caught the eye of amateur comedian Ivan Kirby, as he walked along High Road, Finchley, north London on Monday, March 14. Given the proximity to McDonald's headquarters, he couldn't help but wonder if that's where it originated from. Ivan, who clocked the framed artwork in the window of East Finchley’s RSPCA shop has since joked that it was a bit of a bargain, with a reasonable £25 price tag. A signature in the right-hand corner of the picture points towards it having been painted in 2018, meaning the previous owner wouldn't have kept it in their possession for more than four years. Ivan has since shared his creepy find on Facebook, where his followers were left completely horrified. Amanda Hadfield wrote: “No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Jeez, just burn please. It's going to take someone's soul", while Leisha Schoer shuddered: “That needs to be burned, it's beyond haunted".
