The HCD, after receiving the reports about the detention, contacted Marka’s administrator who showed cooperation and readiness to ensure the safety of the family and neighbours of the disabled individual, as well as maintain his right to treatment to reduce his violent behaviour. The statement, cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, said that the young man, who is currently at Marka prison, will receive care that meets his needs, pending his transfer to the National Centre for Mental Health.
